Chalet Hunter is an independent marketplace for ski chalets and apartments in the Alps. Hosts list their own properties; travellers find them here and book direct with the host. Chalet Hunter takes no commission on bookings and adds no fee for guests.
Yes. Listings include both fully catered chalets — where the host handles meals, housekeeping and often a chef on selected evenings — and self-catered chalets and apartments. Use the "Catered" and "Self-catered" filters on the search page.
Yes. Alongside chalets and lodges, the platform lists ski apartments and condominiums. Filter by property type on the search page to see apartments only.
Coverage spans the major Alpine ski regions: France (Chamonix, Morzine, Méribel, Val d’Isère, Courchevel and more), Switzerland (Verbier, Zermatt, St. Moritz), Austria (St. Anton, Lech, Saalbach), Italy (Cortina, Courmayeur) and Andorra. We focus only on Alpine ski destinations.
Yes. Hosts list their own chalets and apartments for a flat annual fee — there is no per-booking commission. Create an account and choose "List your chalet" to start, or email hello@chalethunter.com.
Search by resort or dates, open a chalet you like, and send an enquiry. The host responds directly with availability, pricing, and booking details.
No. We charge hosts a subscription to list. Travellers pay nothing to Chalet Hunter — your booking payment goes directly to the host per their terms.
Cancellation terms are set by each host and shown before you pay a deposit. Always read them before booking — Chalet Hunter does not set or mediate cancellation policies.
We monitor listings on the platform and do our best to verify hosts. Verifying ownership and operating legitimacy across multiple countries is genuinely difficult, so we don’t claim every listing is independently vetted — but we act on credible reports and remove hosts who repeatedly fail to deliver.
Plans start at £29/month for a single chalet, scaling with portfolio size. There are no per-booking fees.
Most listings are reviewed and published within two working days of submission.
Yes — iCal sync is supported. Two-way Airbnb sync is on our roadmap for late 2026.
Bookings are paid to you directly by the traveller. We do not handle traveller payments — you control your own terms.
Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in page. If you don't receive the reset email within five minutes, check spam.
Sign in, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. Your data is removed within 90 days.
