How do I book a chalet?

Search by resort or dates, open a chalet you like, and send an enquiry. The host responds directly with availability, pricing, and booking details.

Does Chalet Hunter take a booking fee?

No. We charge hosts a subscription to list. Travellers pay nothing to Chalet Hunter — your booking payment goes directly to the host per their terms.

What if I need to cancel?

Cancellation terms are set by each host and shown at time of booking. Always read them before paying a deposit.

Are the chalets verified?

Yes. We review every listing before it goes live. We also remove hosts who repeatedly fail to deliver what they advertise.

For hosts

How much does it cost to list?

Plans start at £29/month for a single chalet, scaling with portfolio size. There are no per-booking fees.

How long does it take to get listed?

Most listings are reviewed and published within two working days of submission.

Can I sync my calendar?

Yes — iCal sync is supported. Two-way Airbnb sync is on our roadmap for late 2026.

How do I receive payments?

Bookings are paid to you directly by the traveller. We do not handle traveller payments — you control your own terms.

Account & technical

I forgot my password.

Use the "Forgot password?" link on the sign-in page. If you don't receive the reset email within five minutes, check spam.

How do I delete my account?

Sign in, go to Profile → Settings → Delete account. Your data is removed within 90 days.

Do you have an API?

Not publicly. If you have an integration use case, email partnerships@chalethunter.com.
