By using chalethunter.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
2. What we do
Chalet Hunter is a marketplace that connects travellers with chalet hosts. We are not ourselves a party to the booking contract — that is between you and the host.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old to register. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate another person.
4. Listings and bookings
Hosts are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. Travellers are responsible for reading listings carefully before booking. Cancellations, refunds, and disputes are governed by the host's stated policy at time of booking.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform to:
- Post fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content
- Harass other users or hosts
- Scrape, copy, or reverse-engineer the platform
- Circumvent our payment system to transact off-platform
6. Fees
Hosts pay a subscription fee to list properties. Travellers do not pay Chalet Hunter directly — booking fees are paid to the host per the host's terms.
7. Liability
We provide the platform "as is". We are not liable for the conduct of hosts or other users, or for any loss arising from your use of the platform, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may close your account at any time via your profile settings.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England.
